A Delhi Boy Doesn't Need Language to Say Things
Wait! What? Humour Me!
There's a language you speak, read, write, and learn in.
Then there's a language that the history of your country imposes on you. The vernacular of your people.
And then there's the language spoken in the city.
Like "Pencho" in Delhi.
"Chalega? Chalega!" in Mumbai.
Innit, Bruv and so on in London.
"Fuhgeddaboudit" in New York.
And there's the language you speak to your friends in, a language filled with slurs and insults, yet it's the most calming and endearing. Makes you belong, in an instant.
And then there's the language you speak to your sweetheart in. A language where you can express a thousand thoughts without uttering a single word.
